Week 3 Module 4 Final Project


For this week I went ahead got everything in a pretty finished state for industry review on Thursday! 


I pushed through and went through retopology and making the UVs. 


I made it to the texturing stage and did quite a bit of lookdev work going back and forth between Unreal and Substance Painter to make a cohesive look! I also used my previous knowledge of Xgen to create a groom for the character and it came out pretty well! 


Overall the project really ended up coming to life and I feel like I've put my own spin on this concept and I'm excited to do some final renders and composition for final presentation!


Here is a WireFrame Pass I'm hoping for the final presentation to be able to color code the wireframes with the UVs to have a professional clean look for my portfolio! My overall tri count sits at 39k tris!

Module 4 Week 2 Final Project

 


For this week I have been focusing on tertiary detailing and have started the retopo process for the Low Poly.

Module 4 week 1 Final Project

 Schedule for Final Project:


Project Declaration: Batgirl Bust

Week 1: Block out for whole sculpt including body, eyes, gums teeth and Suit/Cape. (If finished can start some secondary detailing.

Week 2: Go for secondary and tertiary detailing, once this is done start a retopo and UV process.

Week 3: Finish Retopo and UV, Bake and texture finished out by the end of this week.

Week 4: Create Hair simulation using Xgen (going to try Unreal's hair converter if it doesn't work put I will just use the allembic for presentation.) and Final renders for industry review.

Here is what I have so far for week 1, I'm satisfied with the results and I'm looking forward to pushing this further!


Here is how it is matching up with my reference so far, I was lucky and found someone that attempted a similar project and have been using that as my main pose and face reference.

Sprint Delivery #1

  For this Sprint I am delivering the initial blockout sculpt of the Oni Character for our scene. He is inspired by the Japanese Fire God Ka...
